HAUL | SEPTEMBER 2016

So guys, it's mid October... like what, already?! It's crazy how quick the year has gone, meaning Christmas is only round the corner and my 21st birthday woo! Also, I feel like I can finally wear chunky knits and cute booties, as it's gotten so bloody cold, not complaining though... it's my favourite season!

As you may know, I like to do monthly hauls as these are one of my most popular posts and do so well! I just want to apologise that I haven't been posting as much recently and that this is going up late this month. It's been a crazy couple weeks as i've just gone back to uni and it's already been manic so I haven't had much time to sit down and blog, but I will definitely make time now the first couple of weeks are done and dusted, sorry guys!

So, lets get onto what I purchased last month!

NYX - Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick| £6.50
I've always wanted to try some lip products from NYX. I originally wanted to try the 'Matte Lip Creams' but when I started to swatch the Liquid Suedes, I fell in love with the formula. I purchased the colour in 04 and I absolutely love it! It's a pinky nude, and has been my go-to lipstick at the moment. I really like the formulas as they're so moisturising. I find they don't dry down completely matte, so there is no drying to the lips which I really like!

RMCA - No Colour Powder | £9.95
Earlier in September, I attended my first blogging event in London (blog post all about it here). Ellie (Go follow her on Insta @makeupbyelv), one of the lovely bloggers I met up with said she wanted to head to Guru Makeup Emporium shop to stock up on the RMCA No Colour Powder, and I had never tried it! So many youtubers like Jaclyn Hill have raved and raved about this and Ellie herself said it was amazing, so I thought I'd give it a go and it's definitely replaced my Laura Mercier powder and 1/3 of the price!

BEAUTY BLENDER - Pink & Black | £16 each
For the absolute longest time, I have wanted to try the Beauty Blenders, but could never justify the price tag! For the last couple of years I've been using the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, which apparently is equally as good, but quarter the price and i've absolutely loved it! Recently, I took the plunge and bought my first ever beauty blender and I loved it so much... I ended up buying another whoops!

ABH - Modern Renaissance Palette | £41
This palette has been EVERYWHERE on social media. YouTubers have raved, it's been raved about on Instagram... so you know the deal, I went and bought it! I'm easily tempted, but who wouldn't be?! It's stunning and even better IRL. It is on the pricey side, but personally, it's definitely worth it as I've been using it non-stop. I recently featured this in a Autumn Eyeshadow Picks blog post, so if you want to know more about it, with photos, head on over here.

COLOURPOP - Ultra Matte in Stingraye | £10
One of my fave Youtubers Shani Grimmond recently created a makeup tutorial using this liquid lipstick and I fell in love straight away and had to buy it! It's a purple/pink lippie with a brown undertone and it's nothing i've ever owned before but I LOVE it. It's definitely different from what I usually wear, but it's always good to get out your comfort zone isn't it?!

Ebay - False Eyelashes | £1-3
If you've read my previous posts, especially the makeup looks, you would know I love buying my false eyelashes from Ebay as I think most of them are great quality for such a cheap price. Obviously I'm obsessed with lashes, so of course I had to stock up and buy some new ones to add to my collection, cause you can never have too many pairs!

MORPHE BRUSHES - 35P Palette | £19.50
I've had my eye on this eyeshadow palette for SO long as I think purple tones really complement brown eyes, but never got round to buying it. My boyfriend is an absolute sweetie and treated me, thanks boo! Literally, as soon as I opened the palette, it was like heaven. I love palettes when they're brand new and pristine, I don't want to touch them! The 35P eyeshadow palette is filled with mauve and purple shades, mattes, shimmers and foiled shadows and the pigmentation is INSANE.

GERARD COSMETICS - Slay All Day Setting Spray | £12.50
This is my first ever product from Gerard Cosmetics and the name of this setting spray just called at me! I got the spray in Jasmine, mostly because it was pink... I'm not too keen, but I'm not going to say too much about this spray as I'm planning on doing a review post on it, so I will leave it at that! I do plan to buy the Peach spray next, as everyone says it's the best out of the lot.

ABH - Sweets Glow Kit | £39
After buying the That Glow Glow Kit, I just had to buy another, and the Sweets kit really caught my eye! I'm a sucker for packaging, and I just fell in love and literally love all of the highlighters in the kit. They're super pigmented and make your highlight poppin' which is everything I need in a highlighter!

LA GIRL - Beautiful Bronze Concealer | £3.99
I've wanted to try the LA GIRL concealers for the longest time now, after seeing countless of YouTubers raving about them and for the price, they're insanely cheap! I got mine from an Ebay seller, which I regret completely. I have a feeling it's a counterfeit product as it's horrific! It doesn't blend at all, the tube is half empty, not at all like what i've heard, so disappointed :( Will have to buy from an official store when I can and see the comparison!

Ebay - Soft Box Studio Lights | £30

Again, fellow blogger Ellie bought some soft box lights and recommended them to me, so I thought I might as well invest and it was the best thing ever, thanks girl! I can't tell you how much it has changed my photos. I am SO much happier with my photos for my blog and Instagram now as the quality and brightness has improved so much. Before I used to just use natural lighting with lots of editing, but my room hardly had much natural lighting, so buying these have been a game changer!
