If you know me, you'll know that I have have an extreme obsession with false lashes, a whole drawer overflowing and can't leave the house without a pair! I was never blessed with long, beautiful lashes, instead, they're short, stubby and thin (thanks mum haha!) so false lashes literally SAVE me and every makeup look looks so much better and put together because, if I don't wear them, I look like a 12 year old boy *cries*
Hey lovelies, i'm here with my monthly favourites for January! Now I know I haven't done one in donkey years, I think my last was actually back in August (I'm the worst!!!) but since it's the first month of 2017, I thought i'd try and get back into these posts now as I love sharing my beauty faves with you all!
So, were here at this time of the month again with my Glossybox review! Can't believe this is my first one of 2017 already... January has gone SO quickly, yet so slow, who else agrees?! I've seen a lot of people say they were pretty disappointed with January's box, but I'm pretty pleased with it to be honest! I still think December 2016's box was the best so far since i've subscribed to Glossybox, but I definitely enjoyed this month's subscription!
I cannot tell you how long i've been lusting over this foundation, so when my brother asked me what I wanted for my birthday, this was the first thing that came into mind and now I finally own it YAY! Over the past couple of months since it launched, i've seen many mixed reviews, some good, some bad, but I knew I still wanted to try it for myself and put it to the test, because if it were to work for me, everything it's described as sounds like the PERFECT foundation for my skin type (oily-combo). I also posted a photo on my Instagram a couple weeks ago and so many of you said you would love to see a review, so here it is!
I know, I know... it's pretty late to be posting my December's Glossybox, but I can't not! It honestly feels like FOREVER since I did my last Glossybox blog post, but I am super excited for this month's box! I've only had 2 or 3 Glossboxes (I honestly can't remember and i'm being super lazy to check because i'm wrapped in duvet burrito rn) but I am so so so IMPRESSED with each month's box contents and so glad I changed over from Birchbox, sorry not sorry! This was easily my FAVOURITE Glossybox so far, just everything from the packaging, and the products were definitely up my alley and all makeup related, BONUS.
HAPPY NEW YEAR LOVELIES!!! This is my first blog post in 2017. Wow, what a year it has been. So many ups and downs, i'm just so glad to see the end of 2016 and start fresh this year, so cliche lol new year new me. My new years resolution is to definitely start blogging more and create better content, so watch out!

I absolutely love Gerard Cosmetic's products, especially their liquid lippies. So after seeing this around Instagram here and there and browsing on the Beauty Bay website, I ended up giving in and buying their Slay All Day Setting Spray! I thought i'd do a quick blog post with my thoughts and review on this setting spray as after searching, I never really found much about it and if I did, it was nothing but good reviews, so I wanted to share my honest opinion with you guys, what I liked and what I didn't like about the product. It's only bloody 4 sleeps until Christmas... AHHHH where has the time gone? So I thought i'd do a last minute (yes, very last minute guys) blog post featuring some great product ideas for stocking fillers or if you like gifts! I'm not planning on doing one for guys, as they're bloody hard to buy for I swear! But, if you're a guy and you don't receive a Lynx set, then do your parents even like you?... I'm joking, but seriously, I don't know one guy that hasn't received a Lynx set at Christmas.
Now that it's pretty much Winter and Autumn has just passed (MY FAVE SEASONS), we can all rock the warm shadows, darker lippies, fluffy socks & big coats. Autumn/Winter are my absolute favourite seasons, just because of the colours and especially the warm tones, just literally ME all over. As you can see from the photo above, I got a little creative and decided to go wandering in my garden for perfect those autumnal leaves #bloggerprops, hope you like it!
I can't believe it... we're here, in December already?! My 21st birthday is in 2 days YAY and Christmas is just around the corner, how crazy! Anyways, so November's Glossybox blog post is here and I was quite happy with this month's box if i'm honest, although I saw that a lot of people weren't too keen on social media. I think the contents of the box were pretty well matched to my liking, and I know i'll get plenty of use out of most of the products, if not all of them. This is only my second subscription box with Glossybox, but i'm actually pleasantly surprised and being honest, i'm so glad I made the change from Birchbox!
Ahhh, i'm honestly so excited for this blog post revolving around this gorgeous palette! I know this palette is ALL OVER Instagram and Youtube, but I thought i'd do a blog post, sort of review anyways and share my thoughts. Kylie Jenner seems to be adding new products every month or so to her cosmetic line and it's definitely hurting peoples bank balances, like seriously. Just yesterday she revealed on Snapchat her holiday collection (if you haven't seen it, I suggest you get on that sh*t quick) which looks absolutely incredible and includes ANOTHER Kyshadow palette, help me please *cries*.
Last month another Kyshadow palette was added to Kylie Cosmetics, and after taking a miss on the first palette, just because it costs a limb, hearing mixed reviews and then seeing some amazing swatches on her Snapchat I HAD to get my hands on this. I was lucky enough that my boyfriend is the biggest babe and bought me the palette as an early birthday pressie, thanks babe!
So, lets talk about prices because thats pretty much the first thing I want to know when I see a product I NEED, well want but you know. The palette itself cost $42 and shipping to the UK was $14.95. Obviously when ordering from the US, it's always a risk whether you will be hit with the dreaded custom charges... unfortunately I was *sad face* FIFTEN BLOODY POUNDS it was, like why? Royal Mail, Why do you do this? Luckily my babe of a boyfriend offered to pay the customs along with "This sh*t is expensive".
Hi lovelies, today's blog post is on these incredible multipurpose balms that will are super nifty! A couple weeks ago, I received four of the Dr Paw Paw Multipurpose Soothing Balms* in the post which they kindly sent me and i've been using them everyday since! Personally, I had never tried any of their balms or products, but heard so many good things about them from others I know and on especially on Instagram.

I know I haven't been as active on blogging recently and I'm so so sorry my loves! I promise I'll get back into the swing of things soon, I have quite a few posts that are nearly finished, so they will go up this week and next week. But, as it's Autumn, basically Winter here in the UK, keeping warm is everything and I mean, looking good at the same time can also work! I thought i'd put together all the bits that are currently on my wishlist or that I LOVE from Missguided. I honestly can't fault them, everythings affordable and great quality and they usually have really good student discounts going on weekly (20-30% off), so keep an eye out!
So, if you follow me on the Gram (@katherinem_x) you would have seen these liquid lippies on quite a few of my posts recently, i'm sorry, they're just so damn good. A couple of weeks ago I received a package with four liquid lipsticks Molly Cosmetics kindly sent to me including Rose Gold, Bare Soul, Bubble Tea & Cupcake*. I'm a massive liquid lipstick hoarder, so receiving these in the post got me super EXCITED as I always love to try new lippies!
So... this is very new to my blog and if you read my October Birchbox post, you would know that I decided to take the plunge and cancel my subscription and try out GlossyBox! I decided to change after I came across the Glossybox's Instagram. I decided to have a peak, you know, to see what other boxes are offering and I clearly liked what I saw, plus I hadn't found Birchbox to be all that great so I thought it was time. When I first wanted to subscribe to a monthly beauty box, I did go back and forth between Birchbox and Glossybox and it was a very hard decision to make... so here I am now, trying out Glossybox!

Hey lovelies! So today's blog post is a little different from the usual beauty posts. This month, Darwin and I collab'd with Pawsome Box to review one of their monthly Pawsome subscription boxes (how exciting?!).
Pawsome Box is a monthly subscription, containing surprise items worth over £30, designed for your fur babies! So just like how we have beauty subscriptions... but for dogs! Each box contains 6 items of variety from accessories & hygiene to toys and treats, also they are personalised to match your dog the best! You can either sign up and subscribe as a monthly subscription for £19.90 or you can buy a one of box as a gift. They also have Purrfect Box, which is for cats of course!
Each monthly box is usually dispatched between the 10th-15th and takes around a week to arrived in the UK as it's shipped from Germany. All the items are wrapped nicely in a cute little box which you can see below and wrapped nicely with paw printed tissue paper (so cute)!
Put your hands up if you've ever been a victim of the horrid brush cleaning.. I know I have and I HATE doing it, I hope you can all agree with me! Your hands start to look like prunes, your wrist hurts from all that deep cleansing and your just drained by the end of it, but of course you do feel pretty good you've got that time consuming chore out of the way and finally have pretty, clean brushes ready for use again BUT thats besides the point. So when the lovely guys over at Dee&Co contacted me asking if I wanted to review their SHADOW SWITCH dry brush cleaner from Beauty Essentials, I had to say yes! Anything that will help a girl out and make life SO much easier!
